Priyanka Gandhi is now getting widespread support from Uttar Pradesh

Ever since Indian National Congress party leader Priyanka Gandhi started concentrating on Uttar Pradesh political arena, the political situation in Uttar Pradesh has been changing rapidly in favour of Congress party in the state.

It does not mean that the Congress Party would be able to come back to power with it’s own political strength in the near future. At the same time we can literally see a positive political vibration in favour of Congress Party in Uttar Pradesh.

To revamp the congress party and to regain the old glory of Congress Party, few months back Priyanka Gandhi has pledged 40% of Congress party’s candidates for the 403-seat Uttar Pradesh assembly would be women and she fulfilled her promise while distributing the tickets.

Please find below some of the women who got the election ticket to contest:-

  • A beauty pageant winner.
  • Mother of Unnao rape survivor
  • Ritu Singh who had been physically stopped from filing nomination for the panchayat election in July 2021.
  • Poonam Pandey who is the leader of ASHA workers

  • Alpana Nishad, who faced police atrocities for raising the plight of the Nishad community due to illegal mining

By providing 40% assembly seats for women from different section of the society, Priyanka Gandhi once again proved that she is the champion of women.

Priyanka Gandhi wants more and more women to work for Congress party and the women leaders to lead congress party as before in different part of the country in future.

This is the first time after nearly 3 decades, Congress party’s candidates are contesting the entire 403 U.P. assembly seats.

Assembly election in 403 Uttar Pradesh assembly seats are ongoing now and the counting of the votes will be taken place on 10th March 2022.

Priyanka Gandhi and the Congress Party has taken this decision in the intention of boosting the moral of the grass root level congress party workers in the state.

Priyanka Gandhi wanted to show the political strength of the Congress party to those U.P. based parties such as Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party that have been refraining from making any political alliance with Congress Party.

During the U.P. Assembly election campaign, Priyanka Gandhi frequently asked the electorates to cast their votes in an appropriate manner to oust Yogi Adityanath Government from the power and to bring back a non BJP government in the state.

She wants the electorates to punish the BJP lead Yogi Adityanath Government for his inability to handle the Covid 19 Pandemic effectively and the atrocities Yogi Aditynath Government committed against agitating farmers.

Considering the people friendly political work carried out by Priyanka Gandhi for the past few years, she is now getting widespread political support from the people of Uttar Pradesh.

That is the reason political pundits and the medias are now predicting that the congress party candidates will win considerable assembly seats in the upcoming U.P. assembly election .
