14th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) has already been started on 09.04.2021. The Inaugural match was played by the defending champions Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bangalore at a MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai and the Royal Challengers Bangalore won this match. Mumbai Indians once again proved that they cannot win the initial match against their opponents.

Total 8 teams are participating in this tournament and they will play their matches in six important venues such as Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, and Kolkata. The final match of IPL 2021 will be played at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, Ahmedabad on 30th May 2021.
As the Covid 19 has been spreading in a faster manner in 2021, this year also IPL organizers is not permitting any people to enter into the stadium to witness the match from the gallery.

Even though there is no spectators at the gallery, still the players of the IPL teams are in an upbeat mood and they are going to play with vigor throughout this IPL tournament.

This time BCCI will receive 3269.5 crores Indian rupees from Star India for the broadcasting right. This huge amount is more than enough to complete the 14th edition IPL tournament in a successful manner.

As usual Chennai Super Kings team is still one of the most consistent teams in this tournament. But in the beginning we can’t predict which team is going to perform better and better day by day.

Normally Mumbai Indians players are not performing well in the beginning. But gradually their performance is getting better and they are rigorously trying to become champion of IPL.

The Indian Premier league (IPL) tournament was founded by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2008. The brainchild of this tournament was former IPL Chairman Lalit Modi. IPL is normally conducts in between March to May of every year.

But Due to Covid 19 Pandemic fear, 13th edition of IPL was postponed and the same was held in United Arab Emirates from September-October 2020 period.

The 7th edition of IPL 2014 tournament was also held in UAE due to the general election in India and the government’s inability to provide adequate security arrangement for IPL tournament.

The same way the IPL 2009 tournament was held between April 18 and May 24 in in South Africa due to the multi-phased general election in India.
