On 15th May 2021 India’s leading Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit celebrated her 54th birthday. On this occasion she has received thousands of birth day wishes from her fans, well wishers as well as from the personalities of Bollywood Movie Industry.
She was born in Mumbai on 15th May 1967. She has completed her school studies from Divine Child High School and then she graduated from Parle College of Mumbai University.
She started learning dance at the age of 3 and she received lot of prices/awards for the dance competition from school and college. She also studied Kathak dance and she has became one of the renowned Kathak dancers in the Bollywood Industry .
Madhuri Dixit is one of the finest actresses in the Bollywood Movie Industry and she acted in various movies in different roles.
Prior to entering in the Bollywood movie Industry, Madhuri Dixit was a successful model.
Madhuri Dixit made her debut in Bollywood in 1984 and her first film was Abodh in which she acted as a young bride named Gauri. Afterwards she acted in various movies and many of her movies floped in the Bollywood Box Office.
It took almost 4 years to get her a commercial breakthrough after the success of “Tezaab” movie in 1988. In this movie she won a Film fare award for her outstanding acting and dancing skill. Afterwards many of her movies such as Dil, Beta, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, etc became highly success in the Bollywood box office.
During her entire movie acting career, she was one of the reigning actress in the Bollywood Movie Industry. She has already won six Film fare Awards, four for Best Actress Awards, one for Best Supporting Actress Award and one special award for her contribution to the film industry and one Mirchi Music Award.
She was honored with the National Citizens Award in 2001. She also won the Star Screen Awards as well as Zee Cine Awards.
One of her movies “Devdas” released in 2002 became super hit and the same was shown in the Cannes Film Festival.
Considering her vast contributions towards Indian Movie Industry, she was awarded with “Padma Shri” that is India’s fourth-highest civilian award of the Government of India.
Through her versatile acting and dancing skills, she has made millions of Indian movie lovers crazy and her fans are always rushing to the movie theatre whenever her movie is released.

She is now completely settled in Mumbai and she has been performing as a Judge of a popular dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa”. She is now doing commendable job as a Judge and always encouraging the participants as much as she can.
