American regime never thought that the global terrorist groups are able to attack global Superpower like America. Contrary to their expectation and presumption, Al Qaida group succeeded in carrying out massive attack on U.S.’s important targets and shaken the U.S. regime in a severe manner.
In 2000, while addressing the United Nations General Assembly Millennium Summit, late Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee categorically warned the global communities including U.S. and European countries about the growing menace of terrorism and the state sponsored terrorism.
During his speech he clearly indicated that the terrorist groups does not have any barrier or boundary and they are able to carry out terrorist attack anywhere in the world at any time.
At that time U.S. and European countries did not take his warning seriously and they refrained from helping India diplomatically whenever India was facing worst ever terrorism that was nakedly sponsored by Pakistan.
Just after one year of his warning, U.S. faced worst ever terrorist attack that has caused trillion dollars worth of property damage, death of more than 3000 people and injured thousands of people.
Prior to this attack, U.S. regime was nakedly supporting Pakistan and they were neglecting India whenever Pakistan sponsored terrorist group was carrying out terrorist attack in India and killing innocent people.
Just after this terrorist attack, U.S. regime clearly understood how much India has been suffering from the cross border terrorism. This terrorist attack has forced U.S. regime to enhance good diplomatic relationship with India.
Since then consecutive U.S. regime has been taking earnest initiative in enhancing the bilateral relationship with India. India and the U.S. is now co-operating in various fields such as Counter Terrorism, Space Technology and Applications, Trade and Economic, Defense and Security, Education, Science and Technology, High Technology, Civil Nuclear Technology, Environment & Health and Clean Energy
India and the U.S. is now working closely with their QUAD group of countries such as Japan and Australia to safeguard the interest of maritime security in the Indo Pacific region where more than 40% of the global shipping exports and 38% of global shipping imports are passing through.
As the hard core terrorist leaders are now ruling in Afghanistan, in future they may provide safe heaven to major global terrorist groups such as Al Qaida, ISIS, etc. in Afghanistan to enable them to enhance their global terrorism network and to carrying out terrorist attack across the world as and when required.
In such situation cordial relationship between the world communities including India, U.S., Russia and E.U. are highly required to thwart any of their deadly attempt to disrupt the world peace in future.
