Recently India’s Light Combat Aircraft(LCA) Tejas carried out a magnificent aerial maneuvers at the Dubai Air Show 2021.
During this Air show, Tejas LCA showcased its superior flying ability, effortless maneuverability, agility and it’s versatility.
The viewers from different part of the world totally astonished while viewing it’s areal maneuvering and other technological capabilities.
Presently many countries such as Malaysia, Argentina, Sri Lanka, Egypt are expressing their interest in purchasing Tejas LCA for their respecting Air force.
Tejas is a Light Compact Fighter Aircraft that was designed, developed by DRDO and manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
India’s Tejas LCA is an indigenous 4+ generation single seat Supersonic Light Combat Fighter aircraft which is having wide range stealth like features.
Tejas Light Compact Aircraft is highly maneuverable, multi-role, smallest and lightest in its class contemporary combat aircraft designed for Indian Air Force.
It’s latest version Tejas MK1 LCA is able to carry wide varieties of modern weapons such as beyond visual range (BVR) air-to-air short range missiles, Python-5 air-to air short range missiles, laser-guided bombs, glide bombs, cluster bombs, a 23-mm cannon, etc.
It can carry payload upto 3,500 kg which is best suited for offensive air support and the same is widely considered as a ‘game changer’ of India’s air defense preparedness.
Tejas LCA MK1A is with AESA radar, better EW suite, self-protection jammer etc. It has got Swing-role (computerized configurable multi-role capability) and Advanced flight control system (Quadruplex 3-axis digital fly-by-wire).
Malaysian Government is now taking earnest interest in purchasing atleast 18 Tejas Multirole light combat aircraft from India for their Royal Malaysian Air fore (RMAF).
They may even considering in purchasing additional 18 Tejas LCA aircraft if they find the same suitable for their air force.
Prior to considering Tajas LCA, Malaysian government has shortlisted for purchasing Pak-Sino JF-17 Thunder fighter jets for their Air force.
As Malaysian government noticed various technical problems JF-17 Fighter Aircraft has been facing, they retracted from purchasing the same from Sino-Pakistan.

About Tejas Aircraft:-
In the month of September 2018, Tejas LCA carried out first ever mid-air hot refueling capability that has met Indian Airforce’s major requirement. This outstanding achievement has placed India in an elite group of countries having air-to-air refuelling system for military aircrafts.
India’s Tejas LCA has already been tested extensively in a tough flying conditions such as all weather/all terrain/all altitude compatible and till now it has not yet experienced any accident.
India is now mainly focusing on designing, developing and manufacturing Light Weight BraMmos Cruise Missile that can be fitted and fired from Tejas MK1 Light Compact Aircraft.
This light weight Brahmos Cruise Missile will have target range upto 300 kms, and it’s spead will be about Mach 3.5 (approximately 4322km/hr.)
