Reliance Jio is now busy in designing and developing a 100% home grown 5G technologies and solutions. They are going to roll-out the same as soon as the spectrum is available. They have developed 5G from the scratch and the same is going to be a true Made in India network.
Reliance Jio and their equipment vendors have already been completed lab trials of 5G network components and soon they will commence field trials.
Reliance Jio is a telecom industry that was promoted by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries. Reliance Jio bagan with a 4G network in 2016 and the same was basically based on computers. Hence, it is easy for Jio to upgrade it’s network system from 4G to 5G.
Once Jio’s 5G solution successfully implement in India, then they are able to export 5G solutions and manage it’s service to other part of the world. Subsequently Jio can become a global player in 5G Network system.
Apart from Reliance Jio, India got many other private and public telecom players such as MTNL, BSNL, Bharti Airtel Ltd. Vodafone Idea Ltd. At present, these Telecom companies are not in a good position to roll out 5G anytime soon. At the same, Reliance Jio is the only telecom player in the Indian Telecom industry that has planned properly for developing 5G solutions.
5G technology is much more different than 4G and it requires lot more towers to provide good coverage for it’s users. It’s technology itself is highly expensive and requires more investment also.
Whatever towers the Reliance Jio has been utilizing for 4G network system at present, the same towers can be utilized for upgrading Jio’s system from 4G to 5G without spending much money for upgradation.
Reliance Jio has already been tied up with South Korean Telecom tech giant Samsung to get an early access to 5G equipments. Their partnestship will help Jio to implement 5G network in India without any hassle and it will further help in boosting Digital India Initiative to a greater extend.
Earlier Reliance Jio does not have much experience in the telecom sector. But their determination and ambition has helped them in launching 5G network system as fast as possible. Other telecom players are still lagging behind in technological upgradation and they are now finding difficult in competing with Reliance Jio.
Considering the phenomenal growth of Reliance Jio, Reliance Jio is able to raise about 20 billion dollars from 13 prominent companies including Facebook, Google and Intel.
Jio is planning to provide a full fledged home-grown 5G solution through Radisys Corporation. This is an U.S. based technology company that makes technology used by telecommunications. They are basically offering software, products, integrated systems, and professional services for communication service providers and telecom solution vendors. If Jio’s planned model works well, then Jio will be able to sell their 5G solutions in India as well as in different parts of the world.
5G Technology is much more faster than 4G. 5G is basically designed to support a 100x increase in traffic capacity and network efficiency. Despite offering much higher speed, the 5G network will also bring low latency. It means gaming via a 5G network would be much more seamless.
5G Network system will help many industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, Media/Entertainment, Health Care, Hospitality, Transportation, Financial Services, Smart Phones, Internet, Agricultural Industry and Automobile etc.
Jio is also planning to release a new Jio Phone, That will be a low cost budget smartphone with touch screen facilities and it will also have 5G connectivity.
Now a days millions of India’s highly potential Indian techies does not have enough opportunities to prove their talent and caliber. Reliance Jio has utilized many of them effectively, given right opportunity and finally they have proved their worthiness by developing an indigenous 5G Technology.
