Nedumudi Venu was a versatile actor & his acting skills remembered for ever

The entire Keralaits in India and across the world badly shaken upon hearing the demise of their versatile movie actor Nedumudi Venu. He passed away on 11.10.2021 at the age of 73 while he was in a private hospital, Trivandrum.

For the past few months he was suffering from multiple ailments including liver related ailments and his health condition further deteriorated due to post-Covid complications.

Nedumudi Venu was born on 28 May 1948 in Alappuzha District, Kerala. He began his acting career as a drama actor and he acted in many dramas.

His good contacts with renowned malayalam movie personalities such as Aravindan, Padmarajan, and Bharath Gopi has immensely helped him to stick in the malayalam movie industry.

Nedumudi Venu started movie acting career with “Thambu” movie, directed by G Aravindan in 1978. Since then he has been acting in the movies in an excellent manner and he was part of many landmark Malayalam movies.

During his 43 years movie acting career, Nedumudi Venu mainly worked in the Malayalam movies and he is widely regarded as one of the greatest actors in Indian cinema of all time.

he acted about 500 movies, mainly in Malayalam and also in Tamil Movies. He has won 3 National awards, 6 Kerala State Film Awards and many other awards related to movie industry.

He was a versatile movie actor and always displaying outstanding acting performances. His widespread ability in handling the serious and comic roles with self confidence was widely admired in the movie industry.
