To get more and more votes from women voters of Uttar Predesh in the upcoming U.P. assembly election, Congress party’s National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi recently announced many poll promises which are going to be a major boost for the party in Uttar Pradesh.
Please find below details of the major poll promises Priyanka Gandhi announced:-
- In the intention of attracting and augmenting women power towards the Indian National Congress party, Uttar Pradesh Congress party will be giving 40% of it’s tickets to women in the 2022 U.P. Assembly election.
- Smart phone to be given to those girls who are studying in 12th Class if voted to power in next year’s U.P. Assembly polls.
- Electric scooter to be given to all the graduate girl students if congress party if voted to power in next year’s U.P. Assembly polls.
- Provide free treatment and healthcare facilities up to Rs 10 lakh for the people if if voted to power in next year’s U.P. Assembly polls. Congress party’s government will bear expenses up to Rs 10 lakh.
- Provide jobs to 20 lakh people and will halve electricity bill of all.
- Waive complete farm loans in U.P. and provide Rs 25000 rupees as a financial help to each family affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
While announcing the above, Priyanka Gandhi also stated that many more promises are going be added in the election manifesto.
By announcing people friendly poll promises, Priyanka Gandhi and the Congress party anticipating that they can bring back the old glory of the congress party in Uttar Pradesh.
Congress party lost the power in Uttar Pradesh in 1989 and till now they could not be able to come back to the power.
Since 1989, Mulayam Singh Yadav lead Samajwadi Party, Mayawati lead Bahujan Samaj Party and the BJP has been dominating in the Uttar Pradesh politics. During the past three decades period, congress party’s grass root level support has been eroding day by day in a severe manner.
Prior to Priyanka’s full time entry in the U.P. politics, , Rahul Gandhi has tried his level best to bring back congress party’s eroded political base in U.P. But he has miserably failed in this endeavour and the congress party has been facing worst ever election debacle one after another for the past few decades.
It seems now the political situation in Uttar Pradesh is changing rapidly and the Priyanka Gandhi is now creating unimaginable political wave in favour of congress party across Uttar Pradesh.
Though the police officials detained Priyanka Gandhi, still the determined Priyanka Gandhi succeeded in meeting and consoling those families whose family members have already been killed during the violence broke out at Tikunia village in Lakhimpur Kheri district in Uttar Pradesh.
Courageous Priyanka Gandhi did not give up her political fight even after being the police custody. Her courageous political attitude and the determination has forced the police officials to release her from the police custody and allowed her to proceed to Lakhimpur Kheri to visit the bereaved families.
Priyanka Gandhi is now getting widespread political support from the people of Uttar Pradesh. Recently hundred thousands of people attended her ‘Kisan Nyay’ rally that was held in Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency Varanasi.
During the first wave of Covid 19 period, due to the sudden declaration of nation wide lockdown, hundred thousands of U.P. based migrant workers stranded in various states.
At that time, with the support of the state government ruled by the congress party, Priyanka Gandhi arranged thousands of buses for the migrant workers to enable them to reach their home as fast as possible.
Priyanka Gandhi is now working round the clock to help those people who are suffering from various reasons such as atrocities, political revenge, communal clashes, political vendetta, farmers agitation, rapes, etc.
