Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar is an excellent cricketer and a good human being

Sachin Tendulkar is one of the finest cricket players India ever produced. He played for Indian cricket team for a period of 24 years. He scored his first international century against England at Old Trafford on 14th August 1990.

He was not only a match winner of Indian team but also a most consistent player in the history of Indian cricket. Because of his passion, consistency and dedication towards cricket, he got a chance to play with the players of many different generations. No other player in India was able to maintain the playing consistency as Sachin. That is the reason Sachin is always compared to Bradman and Lara.

Please find below Sachin Tendulkar’s remarkable achievements during his 24 years international cricket career:-
51 test centuries 15921 runs in Test 68 Test 50’s TOP SCORE 248

Out of all his 49 ODI hundreds, Indian team won 33 ODI matches and lost only 14 matches. Remaining 2 matches were either tie or draw.

Sachin scored 93 ODI 50’s that has helped India to win 56 matches and loosing only 35 matches. Indian team won 28 times whenever Sachin has scored between 70 to 99. Sachin’s tons was always been resulting Indian team to winning the match.

Sachin has scored 51 centuries in Test Cricket and India has won 20 times, lost 11 times and drew the match in 20 times.

Altogether he scored total 100 centuries in the international level cricket alone. He has taken many centuries in the domestic cricket too. At the same time he suffered lot from the tennis elbow that made him difficult for batting and bowling for a period of time.

Sachin scored his 100th International 100 against Bangladesh On 16th March, 2012 in an Asia Cup match played in Dhaka. This great achievement itself is enough to prove how excellent Sachin Tendulkar is in the international cricket arena

Eventhough Sachin Tendulkar achieved enormous records in international cricket, still he does not have any ego.

At the same time he was fully focussed, never forgets his roots, never looks down on people with less stature than him. Respects everyone equally, never looked like getting out, batting with singleminded devotion, showing sportsmen spirit, helping other players by passing his wide range knowledge and experience.

Sachin Tendulkar always respects his elders as well as guiding the younger cricket players. His love towards the cricket game helped him to work hard that enabled him to predict any bowler’s next delivery just by analyzing the situation.

Sachin Tendulkar is not only a role model for millions of kids but also entire Indian cricket lovers in India and across the world. He likes kids too much and he regularly extending financial support to those charitable trusts that are taking care of the underprivileged and suffering kids by providing good education, food, and a good life for them. To show solidarity with the suffering kids, every year he celebrates his daughter Sara’s birthday at the Mumbai slums only.

Apart from the same, he sponsored around 200 underprivileged children for free education, providing required stationery items, uniforms etc.

He was always been helpful and sympathetic with sportsmen and sportswomen. Earlier he paid all the medical expenses of Dalbir Singh Gill, a former cricketer who played with Sachin Tendulkar at the Under-17 level cricket to replace his hip.

Sachin Tendulkar presented Saina Nehwal with a BMW car in 2012 for winning bronze medal at the London Olympics. Prior to the same, he presented P.V. Sindhu with a Maruti Suzuki Swift for winning Girls Under-19 Asian Youth Championship.

Sharjah Cup:
In 1998, Sachin Tendulkar’s mesmerizing 143 run off 131 balls against Australia to seal India’s place in the final of the Sharjah Cup.

When Sachin was playing for Indian cricket team, they were heavily depend on Sachin Tendulkar’s Performances. In many occassion, he was playing like one man army and contributed lot with bat, bowl and his super fielding. Altogether he has taken 140 catches from his 463 ODI Matches itself.

Sachin Tendulkar is not only an amazing human being but also an outstanding cricket player. When Sachin Tendulkar was new to the International Cricket, Australian cricket players were carrying out sledging with Sachin as they were doing with other international players. Instead of answering to their sledging, Sachin was answering with his bat and he was smashing to those bowlers who were indulging in sledging. Since then Australian players refrained from sledging with Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar’s batting was not only impacting in India but also impacting in mighty America where cricket was not a popular game. Once U.S. President Barack Obama was reported to have said: “I don’t know about cricket but still I watch cricket to see the way Sachin plays. It was not because I loves his play, but it was because I want to know the reason why my country’s production goes down by 5 percent when he was batting.
Sachin Tendulkar is always been a true sportsperson and a humble human being despite the entire name, fame, money, adulation and respect he has acquired over the past two decades.

Conclusion:-
Considering his vast contributions towards Indian cricket for a period of 24 years, Indian people are always treating him as a GOD OF CRICKET.
