Aamir Khan is one of finest actors and superstar of Indian cinema. He is not only an excellent actor, but also a Producer and Director of Bollywood movies. He is also working as a host of Television talk show once in while.
He was born on 14th March 1965 in Bandra, Mumbai. His family members were working in the Hindi movie industry quite long time.

He has started his acting career as a Child artist in Yaadon Ki Baarat movie. His real turning point started in 1988 in the Bollywood industry after his movie Qayamat Se Qayamat became great success at the box office and he became a full fledged movie star since then.

His another movie released in 1990 became super hit in the Bollywood industry. Since then he never looked back and he became a versatile actor afterwards.

In the beginning Aamir Khan was not all selective in acting in the movies and many of his film became flopped. His consecutive failures in the movies has taught him bitter lesson and he started taking corrective measures in this regard.

Gradually he became more selective about his roles, characters, scripts, and he started concentrating on his acting much more than anything else. This has tremendously helped him to enhance his acting ability and for keeping his movie career intact.

Some of his movies such as Ghajini (2008), Dangal (2016), Thug of Hindustan(2018) were highly success and that has made record collection right from the day of releasing these movies.

His first movie as a Movie Director was Taare Zameen Par that was released in 2007). This movie became highly box office success and the same has brought him excellent critical acclaim. Since then he directed many movies such as Lagaan, Dil Chahta Hai, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander and Andaz Apna Apna,etc

Amir Khan’s movies such as 3 idiots, Dangal, PK, Sarfararosh, Dhoom 3 etc were highly excellent. In these movies he has acted fantastically well. In Dhoom 3 Aamir Khan acted in a double role as a twin.

Aamir Khan wish to act in variety of roles and his successful acting in different roles are widely mesmerizing the movie audience in India and abroad.

Considering his vast contributions towards Indian Cinema, in 2003 he was honoured with the Padma Shri award and in 2010 he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan award by the Government of India.
