Ever since K. Sudharakan became the President of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee, Congress party in the state has been rejuvenating in a rapid manner.
This positive development is mainly due to Sudhakaran’s outstanding leadership capabilities within the congress party and his aggressive posture towards the ruling LDF government .
Sudhakaran very well aware that the grass root level congress party workers are the backbone of the congress party. That is the main reason he is now fully focusing on revamping the party from the grass root level.
While trying to rejuvenate the party from the grass root level, he is always busy in taking care of the party workers grievances i.e. political threats party workers often facing from other party leaders and workers.

Because of his bold and far reaching initiative, thousands of inactive congress party workers have already become active and they are now actively participating day today activities of the Congress party in Kerala.
Congress party workers now feels that they got a strong leader who is capable in taking care of the grass root level party workers in the state.
While appreciating K. Sudhakaran for his excellent leadership skill, we have to appreciate V.D. Satheesan and K. Muraleedhan who have been working alongside with K. Sudhakaran to revamp the party in the state.
All these three leaders are now working round the clock to rejuvenate the party in the state. With the support of other party leaders, they are now mobilizing 2,500 full time party cadres in each district.
KPCC is now providing adequate training for the full time party cadres and teaching them how to rebuild the party from the grass root level. To speed up this process, KPCC has already set up a state level committee to monitor their day today activities in the party in future.
To make the Congress party as a semi cadre party, K. Sudhakaran is now setting up five members disciplinary committee in each district. This committee will take appropriate disciplinary action to those party workers/leaders are indulging anti party activities.
Within few moths Congress party is going to conduct organizational party election that are highly essential to strengthen and transform the party in future.
By holding organizational election in the party, Congress party will get many energetic and talented party leaders to work for the party from the grass root level to state committee level.
While K. Sudhakaran and his team are busy in transforming the congress party in the state, leaders like Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala has been in an anxiety mode.
These two leaders are now thinks that they would loose their political clout within the party that they had enjoyed in the party for the past several years.
Congress party workers very well aware that the group leaders such as Ramesh Chennithala and Oommen Chandy has been playing worst ever dirty group politics for the past one and half decades, and they have literally spoiled UDF chance to come back to power in Kerala.
That is the main reason, now a days congress party workers in the state are totally against the group politics and they are now sidelining group leaders such as Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala.
