Russian President Vladimir Putin is going to visit in India on 6th December 2021 for a summit talks and to conduct bilateral discussion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Indian leaders.
Apart from the same, Putin is going to attend first ever 2+2 (foreign & defense ministerial) and a joint military commission meeting during his visit in India.
Vladimir Putin is one of the strongest leaders in the world. That is the reason he has successfully prevented collapse of Russia and made Russian Federation as a superpower in the world, In spite of the hostile attitude towards Russia from United States and European Union.
He has been at the helm of Russia for the past 22 years. Over the years, he has been consolidating his power and strengthening Russia’s bilateral and military role across the world.
In 2020, majorities of Russian people overwhelmingly voted in favour of Putin and his reforms programs that literally allows him to stay Presidential power until 2036 after his present elected Presidential term completes in 2024.
He is visiting in India at a time when when Russia started the delivery of S-400 long range surface-to-air missile system to India and India has been facing worst ever military aggression from China in Ladakh and other Indo Chinese border areas.
Russia has always been India’s all whether friend and both countries are still keeping good relationship among each other.
Ever since India started enhancing it’s bilateral relationship with U.S.A., everybody thought that the bilateral relationship with Russia would get affected severely.
Contrary to the same, bilateral, technological, trade and military relationship between India and Russia has been growing in a phenomenal manner.
For the past few years, consecutive U.S. regime has been trying their level best to discourage India to purchase advanced defense armaments from Russia.
But the government of India never bowed on U.S. pressure and they have been keeping much better bilateral relationship with Russia.
For the past few decades, Indian military has been heavily dependent on Russian military armaments and 80 per cent Indian arms and ammunitions are he Russian Origin only.
Though India is now purchasing advanced military armaments from France, U.K. Israel and U.S., but India is still consider in purchasing Russian military armaments which is highly essential and suitable for Indian military.

India and Russia is having longstanding defense relationship and both are having great deal of familiarity with their processes and systems.
Russia never reluctant to supply their ultra modern armaments to India. That is the main reason they have supplied their most advanced S-400 long range surface-to-air missile system, Aircraft Carrier INS Vikramaditya to India and India is able to lease their nuclear submarines Chakra II.
Russia is also going to help India to manufacture more than seven lakhs AK-203 Assault Rifles in India under the Make in India programme.
Considering the ongoing military threat India has been facing at the hands of China, India is going to purchase additional 21 Nos. Mig29 fighter planes,12Nos Su30 MKI fighter planes and 400 T-90 tanks from Russia on an urgent basis.
India and Russia is now expanding their security co-operation to avert the terrorism threat from Afghanistan. Apart from the same, recently Russia and India took the initiative in conducting a Regional Security Dialogue on Afghanistan.
